- Salary Target: Up to $145K (DOE)
- Support a vulnerability scanning operations team to identify, classify, remediate and mitigate system vulnerabilities.
- Help in supporting and developing a vulnerability program around tools such as, Nmap, MassScan, and Nessus.
- An Active Q clearance is needed to start.
- A deep understanding of the cyber security environment, including network and host system security issues and concepts, compliance, and certifications.
- Advanced understanding of common network and host-based attacks, attack methods, network defense architectures, and security tools.
- Extensive experience with the following:
- Penetration testing
- Vulnerability detection and mitigation
- Programming and script languages
- Security tool development and support
- Experience with programming in Python.
- UNIX/Linux system experience.
- Experience working with databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, Sybase.
- Skilled with automated analysis with Python, Perl or similar languages.
- Web application development:
- Back-end: Python, Perl, or PHP
- Front-end: HTML/CSS development and Javascript development
- Tool integration and event correlation with differing APIs.
