Senior Quality Assurance

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Fort Lauderdale, FL that is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: In this role, the Senior Quality Assurance will analyze product requirements from a customer viewpoint and make suggestions based on gap analysis Write test plans, cases and conditions to ensure effective test coverage based on product requirements for cloud-based software applications and Mobile apps Execute test cases, at black-box, grey-box, and white-box levels Mentor and collaborate with other testers in test procedures, processes and best practices Participate in the development of test project goals, scope, estimates and plans The Senior Quality Assurance will collaborate with other testers in test procedures, process and best practices Work closely with Development, Product Management and QA Test leadership to develop an applicable test approach and strategy for both specific products and product lines Execute long duration tasks and assignments according to project plans, to meet schedule, resource and quality requirements Log and track defects using the designated tracking system and tools Identify risks and dependencies of the product and subsystems, prioritize the effort, and deliver the project on time and according to milestones, specifications and defined quality standards As a Senior Quality Assurance, this role will engage in test result analysis and test report creationREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or Related Technical Field required Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or Related Technical Field is a plus 5-8 years of related experience Ability to develop and execute software test strategies and test cases Experience in Agile/Scrum/DevOps development methodology Knowledge of cloud-based applications, SQL, and Windows GUI Experience in Functional, Integration, System, Regression, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End System Integration Testing Experience in Manual and Automation Testing Established expertise in test methodologies and techniques Experience working with JIRA highly desired Understanding of API Testing and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Apigee, Tricentis) highly desired Experience in Scripting languages (VBScript, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Shell, etc.), highly desired Experience in code development (C, C, C#, Java, etc.) is a plus Experience with the test automation technology and automated test tools (Selenium, TestComplete, QTP/UFT, Rational Functional Tester) is a plus Experience in configuring, troubleshooting and testing TCP/IP and UDP based network devices is a plus Experience in network protocols such as SNMP, IPMI, SMTP, and LDAP is a plus Understanding of database architecture/concepts is a plus Knowledge of metrics and models in product quality engineering Understanding of test methodologies and techniques Demonstrated command and experience working with Test and Defect Management/Workflow tools Familiarity with Software Development Life cycle (SDLC) and testing processKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
