RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Lenexa, KS that is seeking a Technical Training Specialist.Responsibilities: In this role, the Technical Training Specialist will support needs analysis during the project kick-off Participate in Agile software development project meetings and events to maintain alignment during content development and application release phases Develop effective training presentations, tutorials, instructor and student guides, practice activities, assessments, and evaluations in varied formats Create, review, and update resource materials as indicated by user feedback, application updates, and stakeholder requests Maintain, coordinate, and communicate training schedules with end users and stakeholders Collect and maintain training data to support department key performance indicators The Technical Training Specialist will coordinate external vendor-provided training with end users Facilitate live, instructor-led training sessions with groups or individuals in a variety of settings (in-person, on-site, virtual) Build relationships throughout the organization, both within IT and across business units/customers/stakeholders to identify/address gaps in user training Stay up-to-date on core technology, IT applications, and business strategies Assist technical managers, IT developers, and specialists to explain complex technical concepts and business/data workflows to non-technical audiences As a Technical Training Specialist, you will provide user training support with IT product launches and go-livesREQUIREMENTS: College degree in Education, Organizational Development, or IT-related field, or comparable work experience is required 1-5 years of experience designing, creating, and delivering technical training solutions is required At least 2 years of experience using content authoring tools (Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.) is required A hands-on, can-do positive attitude Ability and flexibility to travel up to 25% Able to work on-site full-time (limited remote work pending) Clear, concise and accurate written and verbal communication skills Advanced proficiency with O365 and SharePoint Can apply adult learning theory and instructional design principles across delivery methods (self-paced, instructor-led, in-person v. virtual) Can develop content across learning models (ADDIE, LLAMA) balancing flexibility and discipline Can measure training engagement and effectiveness Thinks creatively and shows a willingness to explore innovative training solutions Can prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused IT environment Gives, receives, and applies feedback from internal and external stakeholders in a constructive and professional manner Applies business acumen when creating content to ensure learning activities are relevant and reasonable within the context of stakeholder needsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
