BackgroundThis opportunity is for a development/manufacturing Test Application Engineer (TAE) to be part of the team responsible for developing characterization and manufacturing wafer test programs.This role will be focused on the development of a custom wafer test part number program on the Advantest 93000 test platform. The test applications engineer in this role will work closely with experienced test development engineers and design for test (DFT) designers to define, verify, and implement test programs that ensure the quality of a custom product. Test application engineers are challenged to solve functional and performance issues related to new VLSI microprocessor designs and to ensure robust manufacturing test productivity.

Required skills/Level of Experience :
  • Electrical Engineering Degree (BSEng or MSEng) with knowledge of VLSI design, semiconductor physics and DFT (Design For Test).
  • Prefer 5 years of Advantest 93000 test application experience. Alternatives would include experience on Teradyne or equivalent ATE (Automated Test Equipment) platform.
