Job SummaryThe Sr. Advanced Application Developer designs, develops, tests, maintains and enhances the entire scope of projects and multiple application software programs for a leading global IT solution provider. The Sr. Advanced Application Developer will mentor and guide junior developers in the best practices of software development. The Sr. Applications Developer will interact directly with our customers to determine requirements and deliver quality software which exceeds their expectations. ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:
  • Review and analyze business needs and translate them into programming requirements for new and existing software projects
  • Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to define functional specifications for new and existing applications
  • Write and maintain documentation for applications and processes
  • Design, implement, and maintain test plans for new and existing projects
  • Perform unit and integration testing
  • Writing high quality source code (using C#, .NET, Angular, Typescript, JSON, CSS, HTML, and emerging technologies) to implement application and process features within project deadlines
  • Develop code pipeline jobs and procedures
  • Engage in Project Architecture Reviews to help maintain code quality, performance and adhere to best practices
  • Monitor and analyze application and process performance and take action to address deficiencies
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Resolve support issues related to deployed applications.
  • Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference
  • Evaluate existing applications to refactor and add new features
  • Acquire and adapt evolving technologies and processes
  • Maintain confidentiality with regards to the information processed, stored or accessed
  • Accountable and responsible for the entire scope of projects and multiple applications and processes
  • Delivery of applications and writing test cases
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and prioritize/reprioritize work when necessary
  • Develop strong working relationships with individuals at all levels of the company
  • Anticipate and adjust for problems and roadblocks while eliminating roadblocks within control
  • Remain abreast of current technologies and best practices as applicable
  • Mentor other team members
  • Provide technical training and support to team members
  • Serve as point of escalation for the development team
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of C# development experience preferred
  • 5+ years of SQL development experience preferred
  • 5+ years of Windows development preferred
  • 3+ years of Angular SPA development experience preferred
  • 3+ years of RESTful API development experience preferred
  • 3+ years of Visual Studio experience preferred
  • Thorough understanding of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
  • A strong desire to deliver defect-free, well-designed, and well-tested software
  • Experience with designing, developing, testing, maintaining and enhancing successful projects and multiple applications
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in C# .NET, Java script, Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, ASP.Net, REST, & SQL preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate complex subject matter- both verbally and written
  • Ability to learn new concepts and processes quickly.
  • Ability to self-manage, take initiative and be resourceful
  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment
