A great opportunity to work with one of our leading Clients in the Semiconductor industry.
Research EngineerLocation:- Cambridge, MADuration:- 6+ Months/Contract to hire Responsibilities of Research Engineer- Operate robotic ASTRAL system to execute synthesis and characterization experiments in support of AML materials discovery program
- Organize experimental results and analyze data in support of new material patents & publications
- Contribute to long-term development of the ASTRAL system through integration of new software and hardware
Requirements for Research Engineer- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience with characterization of inorganic materials, in particular, XRD, SEM, and electrochemical techniques such as EIS and cyclic voltammetry
- Programming experience, particularly with Python
- Experience working with automated or robotic systems is a plus
- Experience with CAD and 3d printing/rapid prototyping is a plus
