Director, Salesforce Product ManagerFull Time (Hybrid)Basking Ridge, NJThe Salesforce Product Manager (SPM) is the primary representative of enterprise business leaders and is responsible for collecting input to develop and define member relationship management business strategies, produce internal product capability roadmaps, launch service offerings, and introduce new capabilities that leverage products in the Salesforce/force.com ecosystem. This role will be hybrid, with occasional on-site time required at Corporate Headquarters, located in Basking Ridge, NJ. Ideal candidates will be located within the tri-state/mid-Atlantic region.This hands-on and strategic role requires in-depth knowledge of the financial services sector, especially focusing on emerging trends in the banking industry. The ideal candidate must have experience developing product strategies, roadmaps, and business cases; be experienced in product backlog development and management; and have negotiation and collaboration experience across multiple stakeholders including senior business leaders, product users, Agile design and development teams, as well as partners and vendors.The Salesforce Product Manager contributes to operational excellence and long-term profitability of the Sales and Service, Lending, Payments/Card Services and Marketing lines of business by establishing performance goals and work practices which drive the design and development of high-quality end-to-end Salesforce product and end user experiences.The Product Manager will own Salesforce-related product backlog management including governing the request intake process, ensuring information is continuously groomed for relevance, prioritizing requests based on value and impact, and working with business analysts to ensure sufficiently detailed information is available for development, testing, acceptance, and release of new capabilities. The SPM is the primary liaison between the business and Agile teams communicating and reinforcing the vision for the Salesforce product suite to ensure alignment of what is needed matches what gets built and delivered. Successful candidate is expected to work hands-on with development teams to address daily blockers, reinforce prioritization of work, answer questions in a timely manner, and provide real-time feedback to optimize team productivity and performance.The SPM works with business unit leaders to set release dates, understands tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget constraints, works to find solutions to these and other constraints, and communicates decisions and other information to the organization to keep everyone updated on progress. The SPM is expected to apply and leverage Salesforce product management best practices and apply tactics including business process mapping, data analysis and definition, business analytics, and market research to optimize our use of the Salesforce platform.The SPM will be the primary vendor manager for all products in the salesforce.com/force.com ecosystem.

General Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, computer science, information systems, business administration or other related field.
  • 6+ years direct relevant working experience in the financial sector, specifically full-service banking (consumer and commercial)
  • 6+ years direct experience in delivery of complex, multidisciplinary projects, ideally in a leadership capacity
  • 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Product management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery or agile product owner
  • In depth knowledge of Salesforce platforms including Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Tableau, CRM Analytics and Sales Enablement, with demonstrated strength delivering effective solutions from concept to execution at scale in a cross line of business or enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical concepts so that they are clearly understood in support of sound decisions to meet business objectives.
  • Force.com platform functional and technical knowledge or Salesforce development experience preferred
  • 5+ years direct experience working with an Agile framework using Jira is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as Scaled Agile Framework certification (SAFe), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) are preferred.
  • Any of the following is valuable: nCino lending platform experience, Client DNA experience, Client Digital Insights experience, or Tableau development experience
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), MS Project, Visio
  • Systems development experience is a plus
  • Project Management experience is a plus
