Senior Database Developer and DBA

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Anchorage, AK that is seeking a Senior Database Developer and DBA.Responsibilities: In this role, the Senior Database Developer and DBA provides technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives Direct and control activities for a client and ensure technical requirements are met The Senior Database Developer and DBA will interact in client negotiations and interface with senior managementREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 5+ years of work experience supporting Federal Customers Experience with MS SQL Server, SQL development, triggers, and stored procedures Experience with database architecture and administrator Has domain and expert technical knowledge Experience in definition and management of database requirements, design, code, benchmark testing, debugging, software development lifecycle, architecture, and documentation Decision-making and domain knowledge may have a critical impact on overall project Demonstrate a willingness to work in a team environment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasksKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
