This will be an onsite (in Las Vegas, NV) or remote (out of Dallas, TX) full-time opportunity. Job RequirementsMUST have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology.MUST possess a clear understanding of IT technology regarding multiple Cloud Services.5+ years of experience in Cloud infrastructure and team management including virtualization, cloud, server, storage, and networking.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.AWS and Google Cloud Platform Cloud certifications are a plus.Ability in supporting cloud-based applications environments with distributed enterprise systems and developing implementation standards.Understanding of cloud Computing, IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.Knowledge of cloud orchestration and monitoring technology.Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and partner with other business groups.Ability to develop policies and procedures, risk assessment, and communicate effectively at C-level.Experience in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, IaC, ITSM, IT operations and programming skills are a plus. ResponsibilitiesDriving the daily operations and support function ensuring smooth delivery of the Cloud infrastructure.Build and lead a distributed team to ensure continuous availability for the company’s Cloud platform and its associated application infrastructure environments in AWS and Google Cloud Platform.Oversee, allocate, and assign the workload to confirm deadlines are met regarding internal projects.Deliver rapid troubleshooting, remediation, and root cause analysis of production concerns.Consistently outline and improve the team’s operational processes and procedures.Monitor and manage Cloud spend as a key part of infrastructure operations.Provide an essential function for coordinating upgrades, deployments, backups, security vulnerabilities, patching and proactive monitoring in a fast-paces, dynamic environment to drive sustained business improvement.Direct cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.Reinforce end-to-end systems infrastructure design, capacity planning and performance management, categorizing opportunities for automation, cost savings, and service quality enhancement.Administer and sustain security technologies and sound engineering design for all cloud deployments.Report on condition of the cloud services to leadership, delivering comprehensive data around both lifecycle and cost management.Assist with project execution activities from creation to operational readiness.Offer suggestions for advancements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of cloud network, storage, and computer technologies.Collaborate with customers, architecture leadership and technical teams including systems and network administrators, security engineers, and IT Support teams.
