Sr. Financial / Accounting Analyst

Please note that this is a 6 months contract position. Hybrid role with 3-4 days/week in the office and 1-2 days/week remote.Must have book close and journal entry experience.Qualifications:• A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably within the area of Accounting or Finance. • A minimum of 4-6 years of accounting or finance experience is required. • Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including intermediate to advanced level of Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, VLOOKUP functions). • The ability to work well in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, think creatively, work independently and collaboratively.Responsibilities:• Complete month-end close activities, to include booking journal entries in SAP • Assist with L&O quarterly forecast – distribute templates and work with business partners to help them complete; assist senior analyst and senior manager with consolidation. • Administer/coordinate Small Scale Assay Manufacturing (SSAM) quarter-end reconciliation process; assist with physical count and complete reconciliation between physical inventory and system. • Assist capital analyst with analyzing Project Pioneer (Rochester Microwell and Equipment Plant project) spend. • Complete monthly analysis of prepaid expenses, booking journal entries as needed, and assisting other analysts with commentary.
