Manufacturing Lab Technician

Please note that this is a 12 months contract position.Shift: 1pm to 9:30 pmResponsible for laboratory-scale manufacture of various products using glass reactors, distillation equipment, balances, mantles, and other common equipment.Duties may include but are not limited toProduction and/or testing of commercial or experimental batchesWriting standard operating proceduresSafely handling various chemicalsUse of spreadsheets, databases, or other computer-based means of data collection and analysisMaintaining and cleaning area equipmentMay require some higher education or specialized training/certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Typically minimum of 3 years relevant experience for entry to this level.Requires complete understanding of general and technical aspects of job.Applicants must provide their phone number.
