- Read and comprehend technical specifications
- Design and configure systems (and estimates/quotes), which meet project specifications as defined by the Sales Executive. Specify required equipment and materials from both internal sources and external vendors; including pricing information. Any sub-contractor or special manufacturer pricing must be quoted in writing by the sub-contractor or manufacturer.
- Develop continuous familiarity with clients’ needs
- Check work for quality prior to submitting it to the team
- Work with sales and engineering teams to perform takeoffs of bid documents and estimates
- Work with drafters to create installation drawings for field technicians
- Prepare various project correspondence and documentation
- Additional responsibilities as allocated
- Serve as the interface between Sales and Operations.
