We are looking for seasoned Software Design Engineer in Test who comes with passion for quality, implement test cases and develop automations to validate backend API developed using Java.
Responsibilities Responsible for creating the appropriate test data and setting up the right test conditions to execute test cases. Responsible for creating test plans, executing test cases, recording results, identifying system or application problems, and writing clear, descriptive, and valid test reports. Must communicate clearly, and interact with developers and business analysts to track and resolve defects. You own the complete automation development using Java. Job Requirements:- Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation testing
- Hands on knowledge in JAVA
- Hands-On Experience in designing and executing QA test cases
- Advanced to expert level skills with Selenium Web Driver
- Identify and report bugs and quality issues in development, Test, UAT, production
- Provide clear and concise reports with recommendations on quality
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, XML and JavaScript
- Good understanding of microservices architecture using docker.
- Responsible for creating appropriate data and setting up correct test conditions to execute test cases
- Responsible for executing test cases, recording results, identifying system or application issues, writing clear and descriptive test reports
- Collects and analyzes data for software process evaluation and improvements and integrates them into business processes to address the needs of the business
- Documents all problems and assists in their resolution
- Must be able to communicate clearly, interact with development team Product owners to track and resolve defects
- Experience with SCRUM framework
- Strong collaboration skills
- Experience in Performance testing with JMeter is a big plus.
- BA/BS in computer science or other technical field or appropriate 5+ years of work experience
