Application Engineer

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment servicing multiple markets, they have a unique product portfolio which is used throughout multiple industries. They are growing and adding an Applications Engineer to their team. This is a full time permanent direct hire opportunity near Fayetteville, AR.The Application Engineer will provide engineering support related to system design, proposal preparation, project scoping, and execution of water treatment projects. This person will be responsible for preparing technical scopes of work, equipment design and sizing, cost estimates, interfacing with Sales Managers for technical sales support and preparing technical documents related to a wide variety of water treatment projects. This person will also provide support in preparing bids, project development, design, and implementation of new treatment opportunities that will assist in growing the business.

• Develop tools to assist the outside sales team to meet sales goals (brochures, cut sheets, etc.)
• Define scope to ensure specifications and requirements of the project are met
• Read and evaluate specifications and develop system bill of materials
• Work with Field Services to perform functional acceptance testing
• Work with client to investigate issues and recommend solutions to problems encountered on-site

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Min 3 years engineering experience
• Knowledge of Water/Wastewater or Pulp & Paper industry highly preferred
