- Strong understanding and working knowledge of software engineering, software development, solution architecture and implementation of medium to large scale systems across multiple platforms.
- Minimum 6 years experience designing or configuring systems and/or applications
- Microservices architecture
- Cloud architecture
- Architecture patterns and implementation
- Kubernetes is a plus
- Designs/Concepts J2EE
- Security and Identity management, API security such as AUTH2.0, API gateway (Akana) OAuth & OAuth2, Apache Tomcat, firewall (third party APIs)
- HLD, DDD, flow diagrams, and sequence diagrams
- Java - REST APIs, Core Java, Databases (Relational and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, AWS/ cloud concepts, Micro services, SOAP web services, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS, MVC, Entity Framework, Apache Tomcat, firewall (third party APIs), Spring framework 1.x, 2.x, RDBMS logical design, Kafka
- Architecture principles like LISKOV and design patterns such as MVC, Faade, proxy, decorator, adapter, Bridge, Factory, Front Controller, View Helper, Singleton, Template method, dependency injection, Inversion control.
- Familiarity with mobile telecom products and/or experience in provisioning, inventory, ordering, billing, single sign on etc.
- Working knowledge of databases - especially Oracle
