This is a Part Time position that will work only a few hours per week. This is a Remote opportunity. The IT/Information System Security Engineer will be mainly responsible for providing IBM Maximo Asset Management (MAM) and WebSphere expertise on the Supply and Maintenance Management Program - Marine Corps (SMMP-MC) system supporting HQMC, MCICOM (G-3/5). The individual will be in a remote, on-call status to provide technical support to the USMC CBRNE CM Program Lead IT representative to facilitate DOD Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements for the SMMP-MC system. Candidates will support execution and completion of the items identified in the essential job responsibilities section.For a quick video on Mission Technologies, click here: https://hii.com/capabilities/mission-technologies/What You Will Do:• Provides remote IBM and Websphere expertise • Provide technical support to the SMMP-MC Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support system migration/build-out on the Maine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN) • Research, apply, and test all Cybersecurity requirements including all patches/mandates/ security configurations or mitigations in accordance with Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Security Technical Information Guide (STIG) requirements for Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliancy • Provide Tier III actions and procedures for the SMMP-MC system to include: o Research Web applications o End users support and development o Monitoring and administration of system requirements o Create USER accounts • Ensuring SMMP-MC system operational availability is maintained at 99% readiness • Work with HQMC - Hybrid Cloud Services (HCS) personnel in support of system requirements • Conduct configuration management for all IBM MAM and Websphere software releases source code/executable code updates o Ensure appropriate documentation for step-by-step installation procedures o Ensure appropriate documentation for step-by-step de-installation procedures (upon failures and written requests) o Ensure appropriate documentation for all new releases • Perform DB/attachment backups and restoration • Collaborates with SMMP-MC program personnel and system administrators to ensure the deliverables and schedules are achieved Provide advice to assist customer in identifying support requirementsWhat We're Looking For:

  • Active/current CompTIA Security+ CE certification
  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as Maximo developer
  • 2+ years of experience as Maximo Functional Lead
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance
  • Knowledge of/experience in Hybrid Cloud services
  • IBM certified advance deployment professional MAXIMO ASSET V7.6
  • Knowledge of/experience with SHA-256, PKI support, and Common Access Card (CAC)
