Description:As a functional QA lead working within our Trading and Core Brokerage space, you will be responsible for Test planning and deliver great quality products. You will participate in product understanding, requirements gathering, manual testing, automation testing, coordinate and oversee delivery of testing.As this position demands online trading domain expertise, you will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise and assist team with domain specific guidance.
  • You will provide guidance in quality of documentation, execution.
  • You will be contributing in implementing test strategies, own executions and reporting.
  • You will act as a key liaison between product, development, and QA teams.
  • We are an Agile organization.
  • You will work as part of a Scrum team that brings together development, QA, Product and Project management.
  • We usually run 1 to 3-week sprints and strive to achieve better each time.

Responsibilities:As a lead-1. You will be responsible for coordinating testing efforts with onsite scrum team and offshore testing teams2. Patriciate in scrum ceremonies e.g daily stand ups, grooming, sprint planning, providing inputs, sharing details with offshore team and be responsible for overall successful releases.3. Understand the technical implementation / design and structure test strategy accordingly4. Writing Test plans, test cases adhering to all the standards5. Reviewing artifacts with offshore for comprehensive coverage6. In sprint manual testing and automating7. Creation and distribution of reports

Requirements:1. 6+ years of total experience with excellent communication skills2. MS/Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience3. Hands on automation experience especially JAVA based frameworks.4. Hands-on experience of git, bitbuckets, Jenkins5. 3+ years of hands on experience with testing APIs (xml / JSON ? SOAP , REST)6. Any one API testing tool hands on experience7. 3+ years of Team lead role with leadership responsibilities8. 3+ years of hands-on experience with agile methodologies9. 3+ years of hands-on JIRA / Confluence experience. XRAY knowledge is a plus.10. 3+ years of experience in testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the ability to operate within short release cycles11. Complete understanding of SDLC is a plus

Qualifications:1. Capital markets domain experience.2. Agile certifications3. This role requires that all successful applicants be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of the engagement and provide proof of such vaccinations within 3 days of commencement of services.
