on-site two days per week in Washington, DC.

Must be local to DC, MD, VA, or within 2 hours of a commute!Due to Federal Government Security Clearance Requirements is: U.S. CitizenshipPRISM seeks a Power BI Developer responsible for designing and developing Power BI solutions based on business requirements. To be successful, you will understand various database technology platforms and data relationships to develop robust reporting and analytic services and adhere to and serve as a reporting resource for the organization. You will also be responsible for developing and administering the BI tool to transform raw data into meaningful insights through interactive and user-friendly dashboards and reports and interpret and execute data project requests.

Required:
  • Experience with various database platforms and cloud technology, including Azure / Oracle /SQL
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field required
  • Proficient (3+ years) in Developing Power BI solutions, reports, and dashboards
  • Advanced proficiency with SQL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) for the generation and extraction of data for use in analytics and reporting
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users to provide business solutions
  • Ability to function independently and manage multiple projects
  • Self-motivated and attention to detail
  • Real-time streaming / Real-time Data streaming experience
  • Proficient in creating complex DAX queries in Power BI Desktop & Report Builder
  • Expertise in using advanced level calculations on the data set
  • Experience working on Power BI reports with large volumes of data
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI Report Builder tool
  • Hands-on experience developing complex paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder
  • Knowledge of how to connect Power BI to various data sources (on-prem, cloud) and transform data Business Intelligence
  • Report Development (DAX, import, directory dependencies)
