They ensure allguests have a great experience and a enjoy a perfect pizza. Shift Leaders will set linedeployment and manage daily labor and food costs. They are the leader on duty whenthe Shop Leader is not present.In this role, Shift Leaders will learn all aspects of the business to successfully developinto an assistant shop leader as they grow at &pizza.MUST HAVES// Minimum of one year in a restaurant or retail environment.// High School Degree a must; Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred. // Follow &pizza™ operational policies and procedures, including those for cashhandling and safety/security, to ensure the safety of all tribe members. // As a requirement of the position, shift leaders must pass a Food Safety Certificationcourse within 45 days of start.// Strong time-management skills. Ability to multi-task, to prioritize and to organize. // Ability to select, develop, inspire and manage strong teams. // Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. // Ability to delegate, follow-up and hold employees accountable. IN SHOP REQUIREMENTS// Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused shop. // Must spend 80-90% of working shift on the floor or in the front of the shop. // Be able to lift at least 20 pounds regularly and frequently reach, crouch, squat + bend// Be able to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours or as needed// Be able to handle a knife confidently // Be able to work in warm and cool environments with high-volume music playing// Be able to tolerate potential allergens, including tree nut, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, +shellfishABOUT &pizza&pizza is a DC based pizza brand known for its craft pies, inventive flavor combinations,and dedication to the communities it serves.
