Salesforce Business Analyst

Marathon Asset Management is a global credit manager with approximately $23 billion in assets under management. Our platform is well-established with a 20+ year track record of strong returns through investments in the global credit and real estate related markets. We are currently have a need for a Salesforce Business Analyst based in our New York office. As a Salesforce Business Analyst, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering salesforce cloud technology. Our Salesforce Business Analysts reports directly to the directors of both software development and Investor Relations, translating business requirements to the third-party Salesforce developers. Requirements can be explained as everything from requirements gathering, tracking project timelines, training assistance, demos and all the while learning and growing your skill set.Work with team members to gather, understand, and define business requirements

Develop user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Salesforce solutions using Jira

Collaborate with external developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements

Participate in key meetings with the Investor Relations department and conduct requirement sessions, system demos, user acceptance testing, and end user training

Experience using Salesforce to develop client or business solutions

Proven ability leveraging analytical and problem-solving skills in a fast paced environment

Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly ramp up assess business needs, and technologies

Strong presentation, communication (written and verbal) skills, and interpersonal skills

Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment

Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done

Drive and desire to learn and grow both technical and functional skill sets

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Jira

Must have a Bachelor's Degree completed

Preferred Experience and Skills

Experience using Salesforce application

Experience agile project methodology

Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and requirements

Experience documenting user stories and creating to-be process flow diagrams

Experience collaborating with business stakeholders

Experience on a Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
