Pettit Staffing seeking Machine Operators for Food Manufacturing company.

Day shift

pay: $16.50hr; overtime is $25.75hr

Temporary to hire opportunity

Requirements:

Must be able to lift 40+lbs, this is a position that requires bending, pushing, pulling, lifting.

Strong desire for job stability and growth. This is a temporary to hire opportunity and there are full benefits with 401k upon direct hire after 90 days.

Relevant Job Duties:

Coordinate and monitor the usage of spices, marinades, and sauces in the production process by performing the following duties.

Weigh or measure materials, ingredients, or products to ensure conformance to requirements.

Compound or process ingredients or dyes, according to formulas.

Read work orders to determine production specifications or information.

Observe production or monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Mix or blend ingredients by starting machines and mixing for specified times.

Dump or pour specified amounts of materials into machinery or equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Ability to work 40-50 or more hours per week

2. Ability to work weekends as needed.

3. Ability to wear protective smocks, hats, gloves, sleeve guards, hairnets, rubber boots and, at times, cut resistant gloves.

4.Ability to perform routine repetitive work.

5.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently for several hours to the entire shift.

Physical Demands:

1. Regularly required to stand and walk

2.Regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms

3.Must be capable of speaking, hearing, tasting and smelling.

4.Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.6.

Requires distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
