Hershey Medical CenterLocation: US:PA:HersheyWork Type: Full TimeFTE: 1.00Shift: DayHours: 0730-1600SUMMARY OF POSITION:Responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of the Life Lion Critical Care Transport Services and Aviation staff. Ensure compliance, competence, and expert delivery of all aspects of the services. Responsible for developing and monitoring operational and capital budgets of the Life Lion Critical Care Transport services including possible service growth opportunities. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies including, but not limited to, the PA Department of Health, Federal Aviation Authority. Responsible for the oversight of clinical care provided by the transport team, ensuring that CAMTS standards of care and practice are met or exceeded. Provides oversight of Quality Assurance activities in collaboration with the Medical Director.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in nursing required.Five (5) years of experience in critical care nursing, including both air and ground transport required.Three (3) years management experience required.Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania required.BLS and ACLS required.One or more of the following credentials is required: PHRN, CFRN, CCRN or CEN, PALS, NRP.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Business training preferred.Master’s degree preferred.This job description is a general outline of duties performed and is not to be misconstrued as encompassing all duties performed within the position.
