Job DescriptionPenn State Health CorporationLocation: US:PA:EnolaWork Type: Full TimeFTE: 1.00Shift: DayHours: 5:30a-8:00a start time- including every other weekend rotationSUMMARY OF POSITION:The Shift Lead, Provider and Patient Access Services, provides in-the-moment supervision to team members to address procedure and behavior issues as they occur. The incumbent also provides line-level technical expertise to support all functions performed by the team to which the incumbent is assigned. The incumbent is responsible for reviewing and providing feedback for quality and productivity to team members, as well as investigation and resolution of the most complex tasks performed by the team.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:HS Diploma or GED required 2 years of experience in registration and/or customer service or a combination of both requiredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of all Federal and State regulations governing the teams tasksDemonstrate strong analytical skills necessary to guide the team members daily work flowExcellent written and verbal communication and listening skillsPossess critical thinking skills and have the ability to analyze and make recommendations based on dataAbility to maintain confidentiality and/or discretion in all employee related interactionsDemonstrate emerging leadership abilities and serve as a positive role model in knowledge, behaviors and work habitsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Associates Degree preferredMedical terminology knowledge preferred at time of hireThis job description is a general outline of duties performed and is not to be misconstrued as encompassing all duties performed within the position.
