Concrete Finisher

Matrix5 provides site excavation and development services to a variety of clients across the region. We are currently searching for Concrete Finishers to join the team. Our company services include design build, site excavation, erosion control, underground utilities, and soil modification. We work on a wide variety of projects for residential, commercial, light industrial and municipal markets. Roles & Responsibilities: Assist team with prep on pour sites including excavating and grading, as needed Mix concrete Level concrete using special blades, making sure all lumps and bubbles are smoothed over Smooth spots and fill depression Use groovers and hand trowels to spread concrete Install rebar, or carbon fiber Caulk expansion joints Set up and strip concrete forms Repair concrete structures Place and compact gravel Place concrete, screed, float, edge, trowel Apply finishing coat Follow all company and OSHA safety protocols when using tools and equipment Clean up the worksite when the project is complete All other as duties assigned Requirements & Qualifications: Required: 1+ years of concrete finishing experience Required: Knowledge of standard construction equipment and materials Required: Ability to communicate effectively and to collaborate with Equipment Operators, Foreman, Superintendents, and other necessary construction personnel Preferred: Strong site excavation and development construction management knowledge Preferred: Excellent technical skills and understanding of construction methods, contracts, and blueprints Required: Must be physically fit to perform manual labor in all types of environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (in excess of 50 lbs.)
