job detailsDo you enjoy working with your hands? Are you an experienced CNC and/or press operator? We are seeking Press Operators in Libertyville, IL with at least 1 year of experience. As a Press Operator, you will be performing set up and operation of a flexographic press printing two-sided labels, tags and forms in accordance with the printing specifications and customer requirements. Candidates are also responsible for inspection & quality assurance of final product. We are hiring for 1st and 2nd shift, with pay starting at $18/hr. Achieve budgeted set-up time and press speeds.

Check and verify paper stock for job runs

Adjust and align adhesives slitting and perforating wheels, die cutters, machine controls, and butt splicers.

Make initial run, checking printing and register, make final adjustments to correct press and obtain approval for run

Regulate ink flow, adjust equipment & maintain quality standards.

Clean & lubricate press periodically, clean rollers and plates and change ink

Inspect and package product

Remove printed material, place in containers or cartons, load and move to designate locations

Maintain the ink pumps, hoses, ink trays, and chamber blade units

Notify supervisor of unusual equipment or operating problems.

Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition

Overtime will be required, as needed.

Perform other related duties, as assigned

The essential functions of this role include:manual lifting up to 40lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week

working weekends
