job detailsjob summary:Our client in Downers Grove, IL is looking for a contract Program Manager for the next 5 and a half months. This role will be working with the Scrum and LEAN teams. The Program Manager's purpose is to manage and deliver multiple Research and Development projects using traditional / agile methodologies (Scrum/LEAN) within agreed budget, time and quality. The incumbent ensures the success of the project by managing all projects from initiation to closure with an outcome of achieving desired business value.location: Downers Grove, Illinoisjob type: Contractsalary: $40 - 42 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelorsresponsibilities:Deliver R&D/business development projects using agile methodologies (Scrum/LEAN).

Set up and manage right-sized project organization which contains needed resources with required competencies.

Resolve conflicts/remove obstacles and help teams implement changes effectively.

Manage each project's scope and timeline.

Ensure high-quality deliverables/MVP at end of each phase/iteration.

Provide regular project status versus plan, risk, and issues, decisions by having regular and transparent communications within all stakeholders of the project.

Help build a productive and proactive environment where the team 'own' the product and enjoy working on it.

Work with cross-functional platform and architectural teams to define and resolve dependencies.

Accountable for project documentation (e.g. solution design, go-live reviews, capital proposal).

Manage projects for NA, driving effective collaboration between global and regional stakeholders.

Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

Advocates for career development and professional growth of matrixed reports.

Business Impact:Cross-functional delivery of the Dept. Development R&D strategy.

Establishment of value-based planning and assessment.

It is a critical role in the delivery of the R&D strategy.
