Posted Job TitleDevelopment Coordinator, SAS Advancement (Hybrid Eligible)Job Profile Title Administrative CoordinatorJob Description SummaryReporting to the Assistant Director of Advancement, the Development Coordinator will provide high-level operational and administrative support to the School of Arts and Sciences development program. With close attention to streamlining and documenting efficient and effective policies and procedures, the development coordinator will work closely with the Assistant Director and the services team to support the development program by ensuring data integrity, providing accurate lists and reports, conducting basic prospect research and briefing materials, coordinating development event details, and providing support for the advancement program.Job Description Duties:Provide high level support to the Associate Vice Dean by accurate and timely maintenance of various volunteer, project and fundraising pipelines, enter and monitor prospect information following University-wide data integrity procedures.

Provide support to the major gift officers of SAS by coordinating travel and expense arrangements, completing expense reports, performing basic research and updating prospect records, assembling informational briefings on prospects prior to MGO visits, and other tasks as needed.

In addition to supporting alumni outreach events, assist gift officers in coordinating the details of major gift events. Event support includes coordinating logistics, compiling and coordinating review of complex mailing and invitation lists, preparing the invitation, taking RSVPs, preparing event materials, and, if needed, staffing the event.

Serve as backup acknowledgement and gift processor for the administrative stewardship and gift administration staff. Edit, print, document, and send acknowledgements, and reports, and assist in gift processing and drafting gift agreements.

Prepare complex reports involving data from different sources, and create and maintain policy and procedure documentation.

Effectively navigate a hybrid office schedule, including serving as primary office point of contact when necessary, coordinating office administrative and logistical service support with vendors and clients.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:High School Grad/GE Degree, and 5 years of experience or Associates degree and 3 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree and one year of experience are required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams along with general office procedures, practices and methods essential

Demonstrated technical ability in entry, reporting, and analysis of complex datasets

Excellent written, oral and customer service skills, including telephone and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively with diverse groups

Ability to approach projects with creativity and solution focus as well as exercising judgement and initiative in carrying out duties

Flexibility and productivity under pressure essential

Strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to successfully organize and prioritize assignments and meet deadlines

Creative and collaborative problem solver

Must possess the ability to handle confidential information

Willing to learn new technologies; Experience working with Salesforce a plus

Willing to work evenings occasionally as needed

Targeted Pay Range: $20.45 - $28.23
