Customer Service / Counter Positions - Small, Fun, Burrito Shop (Crown Heights)

We are one of Brooklyn's hidden gems El Barrio Burritos a great take-out/delivery restaurant, specializing in

burritos in Crown Heights. We have a tight knit, fun, hardworking team of people who like to work hard in a supporting, friendly environment. We have one full-time or 2 part-time positions available.

College degree or some college is preferred.

Food protection card in NY is a plus.

Love of cooking & Mexican food is a plus.

We are conducting very brief phone screenings and interviews immediately.

You will learn a LOT about running a restaurant and quite a bit about computers & technology in this position.

COUNTER / CUSTOMER ASSOCIATE DUTIES

Greet guests with a smile

Assist guests with their order

Manage online orders and online services

Keep the restaurant very clean

Minor food prep & kitchen help when necessary

Assist with all food safety protocols

Assist with ordering and inventory

Help to keep the restaurant organized

Create artwork & documentation for operational activities

Data entry & some social media & web work (we will teach you what you need to know)

Post information to social media and our web sites

Help in the kitchen whenever necessary (we will train you but you must cook a bit)

You will report directly to the chef and owner, and work closely with both of them

You will be exposed to every aspect of restaurant management that you are interested in
