Tesla is Hiring Production Associate, Pilot Line Cell Manufacturing (Fremont)

The Role:

We are seeking highly motivated Production Associates to tackle manufacturing on a challenging new pilot line. You will be working alongside engineers to develop an advanced new product and be among the first individuals to work on cutting edge manufacturing processes within Tesla. This fast-paced team is the perfect environment if you are interested in developing multiple skills and having an immediate impact on the future of electric vehicles. Responsibilities:

Immediately report emergencies, incidents, and near misses to production leadership.

Focus on work area safety, cleanliness, material usage and organization.

Operate various process equipment in the development stage.

Carryout wet chemical processes with manual to semi-automated equipment.

Load and unload material into containers and tools.

Independently document operating procedures and data for every production run in standard format and cross train to be competent in multiple work areas.

Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using defined tools and software.

Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime.

Document processes and procedures for manufacturing, maintenance, quality, etc.

Operate various manufacturing or assembly equipment.

Lifting up to 30 lbs

Using a respirator

Handling solvents and chemicals

Requirements:

Authorized to work in the US

Experience in Semiconductor, solar or roll-to-roll manufacturing preferred

Experienced with data recording and entry using Excel or similar software

Able to stand and work with hands for up to 2 hours at a time
