Job Description:Key Qualifications:Position requires Salesforce Software Development experience.

Key Skills:
  • Excellent Linux (any flavor is fine, Ubuntu preferred) and virtualization knowledge.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routes, switch stack.
  • Previous experience setting up, configuring, and deploying different Kubernetes and Open stack environments.
  • Experience in cloud, virtualization and containerization technologies
  • Previous experience setting up, configuring, and deploying different Kubernetes environments
  • Excellent debugging skills required in the area of Linux, OpenStack, Kubernetes and Configuration Management.
  • Good understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routes, switch stack and cluster networking
  • Has experience working with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet.
  • Excellent debugging skills required in the area of Linux, OpenStack, and Configuration Management.
  • Experience in systems maintenance in accordance with vendor polices.
  • Experience in Implementation of cloud services IaaS, PaaS and SaaS which include Openstack , Docker.
  • Sound knowledge on Docker orchestration and Docker containerization using Kubernetes.
  • Good Knowledge in Shell, Python, and Go scripting.
  • Experience in maintaining and executing build scripts to automate development and production builds.
  • Expertise in Nagios, Prometheus monitoring and alerting systems.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment tools

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the successful installation, configuration, and training of CCD and related software
  • Performing defect fixes(hotfixes) Performing Major & Minor upgrade of CCD components for various environments
  • Analysis & Troubleshooting during deployment and co-ordination with Defect management & various support teams
  • Working with DevOps on technical solution, enhancement and updating

This is a Life Cycle Management position within the Integration Services, organization.

Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
  • System solutions analysis, creation, while working closely with Business Development to gather customer requirements and specifications and translating those needs into effective solutions in order to meet customer expectations
  • Drive business and Service Layer & Telecom management solution development with the customer by finding new opportunities based on expanding existing solutions as well as creating new ones.
  • Attend as well as drive customer meetings for specific solutions and different areas.
  • Develop cost estimates and perform project planning including adaptations
  • Responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions based on the customers specifications and business needs. Responsible for short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by being part of or working closely with the Core 3 team to translate the customer need and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals. Supports the Consultants during requirement analysis and high-level design phases.

COMPETENCE:

Skills, Experience, & Education
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or Computer Engineering or acceptable combination of equivalent post-secondary education and experience will be considered
  • Minimum 10 years previous experience working in software design and integration within the Telecommunications or IT space is required
  • Solid background working with CDMA and/or GSM applications as well as well as all related protocols is critical
  • Minimum 10 years' experience working in a direct customer-facing role with related pre-sales responsibilities is ideal
  • Excellent knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter)
  • Excellent knowledge of UNIX O/S (Solaris, Linux)
  • Solid working knowledge of Databases such as MySQL and Oracle
  • Strong knowledge of XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP protocols
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies (call flow) and related protocols preferred
  • Knowledge of Ericsson products or telecom experience in an Operator (Carrier) environment is highly desired.
  • Datacom experience is a plus.
