Keeping healthcare healthy can be as fun as it is rewarding.CHG's Analytics & Business Intelligence team is on the hunt for an experienced leaderwith a technical track record to help operationalize data for our largest sales division. While we spend most of our time in Tableau, Excel, and SQL, we're looking for someone who's comfortable working across a broad tech stack. Put your analytics expertise and your sharp communication skills to work driving data culture, improving adoption of business intelligence tools, prioritizing requests for data-driven solutions, and building out a team of experts to support and optimize our industry-leading brand. Success in this role will take close collaboration with all levels of our organization, from individual contributors to executives to engineering partners within CHG's data group. This is a hybrid role with flexible, part-time attendance needed in our Ft. Lauderdale, FL office. People leadership (40%):

  • Build and lead a high-performing team through our award-winning Putting People First culture
  • Support and inspire skilled professionals to reach ambitious goals while identifying opportunities for each of them to grow and develop
  • Liaise and negotiate with technical teams to ensure the analytics/BI environment is supported
Product leadership (20%):
  • Ensure effective intake and prioritization of requests in-line with current and anticipated business needs
  • Discover ideas for value-adding solutions through close partnership with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Evangelize the Business Intelligence brand
Deliver actionable insights (20%):
  • Use analytics and data mining skills to provide prompt, actionable, business-critical guidance for questions large and small
  • Solve complex technical problems across a variety of domains with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Develop scalable reporting tools (20%):
  • Help your team develop and enhance enterprise-grade solutions to democratize and operationalize data with valuable results
  • Collaboratively establish standards, workflows, and best practices to maximize the impact and quality of the entire analytics/BI service
  • Ensure adoption and sustainment of data-driven solutions
  • Train analytics and business intelligence consumers to use Tableau reports and other offerings
Qualifications:
  • Strong people leader with the ability to challenge, motivate, and influence
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a knack for clearly conveying difficult concepts to technical and non-technical partners
  • Expert in at least one data-driven reporting tool (Tableau preferred)
  • Capable of writing and optimizing moderate-to-complex SQL queries
  • Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to evaluate business scenarios
  • Sound understanding of analytics and BI best practices, relational data models, and reporting techniques
  • Very strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to gather and translate end user requirements into effective solutions
  • A bias for collaboration
Education & Years of Experience
  • Prior experience leading and hiring skilled individual contributors required
  • Prior experience leading a business intelligence function, analytics function, data science function, or similar required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, marketing, finance, statistics, or a similar discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience performing data analysis in a business context
  • Experience developing reporting or other data-driven solutions (Tableau preferred)

  • Healthcare staffing or similar industry
  • Python/R
  • AutoML
  • Advanced Excel (particularly PowerPivot and/or PowerQuery)
  • SSRS
  • Salesforce
  • Web development (HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
  • UX and interaction design
  • Graphic design (Adobe CC)
