General Labor - Packer/Stacker - 1st Shift! South Dallas area

$14/ hr full-time position with benefits

Trinidad Benham, with over 100 years of history, is opening a new food packaging facility in Dallas and we are currently hiring for General Warehouse Labor. We are looking for Packers and Stackers to come join our team!

The Packer/Stacker is responsible for safely and efficiently placing packaged products into boxes and stacking finished goods onto pallets in a neat, orderly fashion. Will also assist the machine operator where needed.

Essential Functions:

Pack the correct number of bagged products into boxes

Safely and efficiently stack finished goods onto pallet in a neat, uniform manner

Ensure supplies are readily available for machine operator and assist where needed

Complete required paperwork such as pallet tags

Transport needed packaging materials to production area

During downtime, ensure cleanliness of the work area and/or assist other machine operators

Break up unusable packaged product when required

Comply with company safety policies and maintain clean and orderly work area.

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) procedures

Perform other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor or Plant Management

Requirements:

Strong attendance, self-motivated and dependable

Communicate effectively and display positive attitude with all levels of employees

Must be able to meet daily production requirements

Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Ability to perform basic math skills

Able to lift up to 50 lbs
