Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a IT Program Manager 2 that will lead all information technology activities in support of the Global Sustainment and Modernization (GSM) Division of the Defense Systems Sector.The ES Program Manager is the lead Enterprise Services interface to, and directly supports Global Sustainment and Modernization (GSM) Division Vice Presidents. This position will be located at either Defense Systems Headquarters in McClean, VA or Warner Robbins, Georgia, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Lake Charles, Louisiana.There is not option for full time telecommuting/virtual work in this role.Roles and ResponsibilitiesThe ES Program Manager is responsible and accountable for managing all Division-specific recurring and nonrecurring activity that:

  • Enables program execution and business capture
  • Improves user productivity and experience
  • Delivers Value to our Defense Systems business partners
  • Promotes ITS Talent development enabling our Enterprise Services and Defense Systems culture
  • Manages risk and opportunities for ES Capabilities within the assigned Division Portfolio
The ES Program Manager will establish and maintain effective internal and external customer relationships to foster an in-depth understanding of business requirements and will lead and develop transformational strategies/concepts, implement change to create and drive programs responsive to business requirements. This position will report to the CIO and Vice President of Enterprise Services for Defense Systems Sector.He/she will leverage the broader Enterprise Services team to achieve ES and Defense Systems performance objectives. In coordination with ES service lines, he/she is accountable for the delivery of all services that ES provides, including Service Center Operations, Information and Cyber Security, Program Security, and other initiatives.Basic Qualifications:Candidates must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and a minimum of 12 years of progressive professional experience; 10 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
  • Prior Program/Project management experience.
  • Experience leading teams and programs in an IT environment.
  • This position will require US Citizenship as well as the ability to obtain Top Secret or SAP/SAR program clearance following hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to pro-actively identify issues, solution and drive issues rapidly to closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and collaborate with executive leadership.
  • Previous experience managing ES budgets and partnering with customers to prioritize support to business priorities and objectives.
  • Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher is preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple customers and complexity.
  • Prior experience managing a portfolio of diverse and complex IT projects.
  • STEM Bachelors or Masters Degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify issues, solutions, and drive issues rapidly to closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and collaborate with executive leadership.
  • Previous experience managing ES budgets and partnering with customers to support business priorities and objectives.
  • Ability to obtain or have active DOD Secret clearance.
  • Ability to be cleared for SAP/SAR Program clearance.
  • Experience managing multiple customers and complexity.
  • Prior experience managing a portfolio of diverse and complex IT projects.
  • STEM Bachelor Masters Degree.

Salary Range: $130,500 USD - $195,700 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
