Opportunity:

We are looking to grow our water and wastewater service offerings in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to join our team and make an impact in the communities in which we live, work and play.

Duties: Leading business development and client service initiatives to grow the Spokane Office and the water/wastewater market. Will include serving as the client service manager/project manager for select communities or working under the direction of client service managers/project managers for a variety of water and wastewater projects in Washington, Idaho, and Montana.

Project Types: Water and wastewater system design for Municipal and Government clients.

Growth: Morrison-Maierle has 8 market groups and opportunity exists for the right person to grow our presence through a wide variety of markets and disciplines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering Technology or equivalent.

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Civil and Water/Wastewater Engineering industry, performing business development tasks, client service management, project management and design engineering tasks. A professional engineering (PE) license is required in Washington and Idaho, or the ability to obtain within six months.

Value added skills or certifications depending on experience level could include:

Water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment design

Site civil design

Stormwater design

Construction management experience

Funding and regulatory agency coordination

High level of personal responsibility and accountability. Interpersonal skills to meet and communicate effectively with employees, managers, and clients. Positive attitude and professional bearing. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Must have a valid driver license and insurable driving record.

Salary: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Location: Spokane, Washington
