R&B Communications (www.rb-com.com) is a leading IT Solutions provider with a large local client base as well as participation in several larger profile national web-based projects.

The Technical Support Specialist will play a key role in helping R&B service and support our local client base. Key attributes sought for success in this position include:

Strong, hands-on computer technical background.

Comfort and familiarity with Technical Support & Help Desk operations, Networking, and Web based support/CRM systems.

Customer orientation - able to work efficiently with customers over the phone as well as through visits to their facility.

Linux and server maintenance experience (an added plus)

Detail oriented. Tracks time efficiently. Juggle multiple tasks in parallel.

Strong desire to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of applicable experience. Strong communication skill sets are essential both in writing as well as in person. Most of all however we are seeking a Team Player who will work well with the rest of the Team to move the ball forward! We are a 15-person company and every incremental hire really makes a difference.

During the Pandemic Candidate will work remotely from home and occasionally from our Grass Valley office Monday through Friday. After Pandemic it may move full time to our office. Compensation will be set based on candidate's experience and qualifications.
