Has in-depth technical knowledge of cybersecurity systems and processes.Job Description:Manages cyber professionals directly and offers leadership, coaching, and training.Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technicalDevelops and administers schedule and performance requirements; may have budget responsibilitiesDevelops and implements strategic, technical, and operational security/infrastructure controls that are properly aligned with business or program goals and objectivesReviews and prioritizes needs and analyzes project costs and feasibilityMaintains current knowledge of relevant technologiesParticipates in special projects as requiredSCOPE OF ROLE: Manages a medium to large team or department of multiple disciplines. Medium to High Complexity. Direct reports are typically exempt and often include other people managersEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experienceJob RequirementsExperience with zero trust network preferred (ie Zscaler)Experience with cloud technologies (ie AWS DX/Transit Gateway/VPC routing)Experience managing multiple projects (10+) with competing priorities at one timeIn depth knowledge of FortinetKnowledge of routing and switchingFamiliarity with other firewall platforms (Palo Alto preferred)Knowledge of Cisco ISEKnowledge of Cisco Wireless (controller and anchor controller based solution)Knowledge of Remote Access VPN technologies (ie PulseSecure)Proven ability to get in cli or gui and make configuration changes, assist with troubleshooting cybersecurity related issues/problemsManager will serve as a technical escalation for all cybersecurity related incidents and problemsManager will serve as coach and mentor for cybersecurity engineering team developing overall skill setCOVID-19 Vaccination: GDIT does not have a vaccination mandate applicable to all employees.
