We are looking for a Manager, Nursing with Emergency Room Departmentat St. Jude Medical Center.Location: Fullerton, CASchedule: Full-timeShift: DayJob Summary:Role and Responsibilities: Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required Ability to problem-solve, analyze situations, think critically, give constructive feedback and supervise and team with others. Ability to develop and manage operating budgets. Computer experienceInformation Management: Treats all information and data within the scope of the position with confidentiality and security. Nursing managers and coordinators shall have access to the complete medical record of patients under their care for clinical or health care operation purposes. The Administrative Supervisor's access of medical records relating to patients not under his or her care shall be recorded through the hospitals electronic auditing function or by medical records department staff and may be reviewed by the Privacy Officer or designee. All members of the nursing staff shall have access to the complete medical record of patients who are on the floor or unit to which the staff member is assigned while on duty and working.Risk Management: Cooperates fully in all risk management activities and investigations.Skills:

Excellent communication/interpersonal skills required

Ability to problem-solve, analyze situations, think critically, give constructive feedback and supervise and team with others

Ability to develop and manage operating budgets

Computer experience

Position Requirements:Education: BSNExperience: At least five years recent experience in acute hospital settingLicense and Certificate:

Current California State RN license required

Current BLS/ACLS/PALS

National specialty certification required within one year of transfer/hire into position.
