- Implement system solutions to meet customer needs.
- Implement and support disaster recovery solutions.
- Complete system documentation and consulting services, including system reviews and recommendations.
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including patches and hotfixes to address vendor bugs and vulnerabilities.
- Monitor system resource utilization/historical trends and perform capacity planning.
- Problem-solve and interact with customers on-site, on the phone, or remotely.
- Ensure efficient issue resolution in minimum time.
- Multi-task in a rapid-pace environment.
- Document issues and calls clearly and concisely.
- Make recommendations in the best interest of the customer and the company.
- Client-driven. Travel to customer in downtown Chicago is required.
- Solid communication and documentation skills as well as professional appearance.
- Proficiency at designing, implementing, and supporting services for Microsoft-related technologies: Server, Office 365, Hyper V, Windows, SQL, SharePoint, etc.
- Exposure to Active Directory and Cisco CLI.
- Strong computer literacy.
- Familiarity with various systems/network brands/products/applications: Fortinet, Ubiquity, Aruba, Windows Server, Azure, VMware, Cisco, Microsoft Teams Calling, SharePoint, VoIP, etc.
- Sometimes work outside normal business hours is required.
- Staying on top of the current technology trends and issues.
- Ability to think outside the box when addressing challenges/issues.
