Customer Relations Representative with a fantastic company in

Tulare, CA.

The Customer Relations Representative will be responsible for providing assistance to customers with ordering products, responding to inquiries, resolving issues with shipped orders, order entry, providing quotes and assisting with a variety of general office duties within the customer service department of a fast paced manufacturing company.

The ideal candidate for the Customer Relations Representative will be experienced in providing customer service in a business to business environment (preferably within a manufacturing related industry), highly professional, accurate and detailed, organized and able to perform multiple duties at any given time while working within deadlines.

The Customer Relations Representative position is being offered on a temp to hire (will become permanent), full time basis Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM and 4:00 PM with some overtime required as necessary. Company offers excellent benefits and a starting pay rate of $13.00-$15.00 per hour, DOE. A drug screen and verification of CA Driver’s License and DMV record will be required upon an offer of employment.

The Essential Duties of the Customer Relations Representative:

  • Assisting customers over the phone and by email with ordering products
  • Entering orders into CRM software
  • Completing paperwork pertaining to orders, invoices and correspondence
  • Providing problem resolution to customers as necessary
  • Responding to customer inquiries with regard to products, product availability, pricing and shipment tracking
  • Providing general office and administrative support as necessary such as backing up the front desk, assisting management with projects and other general clerical duties
  • Collaborating and communicating with various departments with regard to orders (Shipping, Receiving, Manufacturing, Operations, etc.)
  • May require driving to pick up office supplies or dropping off items at the post office

Required Experience & Skills of the Customer Relations Representative:

  • Must have at least 3 years’ experience performing Customer Service handling the duties listed, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • A valid CA Driver’s License and clean DMV record are required as the position may require driving your personal vehicle for errands such as picking up office supplies, dropping off shipments at the post office, etc.
  • Professional and effective communication skills are a must (interpersonal, verbal and written)
  • Outstanding detail orientation, time management and organizational skills required
  • Ability to quickly learn part numbers and pricing
  • Flexibility to work overtime (OT can be required during the work week or on Saturday and will depend on the needs of the business)
