Together, we can help people build stronger communities - we're just getting started.Summary: The IBOS (Infrastructure Business Operations Support) Data Center Logistics Lead is responsible for overseeing logistics functions that support regional data center operations. These functions include receiving, storage, distribution, tracking, and part returns. The Lead works closely with IBOS Central (Receiving, Inventory Management, and Asset Management), IBOS Transportation, Process Integration, and other groups across the organization. The Lead is also responsible for managing a vendor relationship at the site level by setting goals and priorities for a team of contingent workers. In summary, the Logistics Lead will monitor and operate Facebook inventory and asset management systems while forging close relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Required Skills:
Partner with other leadership on site by helping to develop site level initiatives that foster employee satisfaction and overall site performance
Provide Bay Area-based teams and other regional leads with observations and feedback regarding how logistics systems are landing in region and provide recommendations for improvement
Generate cross-functional relationships with internal and external partners increasing efficiency in communication and improving standardization
Coordinate with central teams to address emerging requirements or unexpected changes to previous forecasts
Manage day-to-day operations of contract teams and full-time logistics analysts, including: shipping and receiving, inventory management and cycle counting of all consigned and FB owned inventory
Produce monthly audits of compliance to ensure all inventory controls are met or exceeded
Support month-end and quarter-end requirements to ensure appropriate financial reporting
Lead inventory reconciliation process to identify risk, manage obsolescence, and classify materials appropriately
Work closely with the Central team and local leadership team to understand business requirements, implement new processes, and contribute to ongoing process improvements
Define and manage key performance indicators to measure supplier and contingent worker performance
Review dashboards to gauge health of data center and develop operational agenda for IBOS
Work closely with partner teams to manage logistics changes across the data center campus
Suggest process improvements and help to generate new ideas for operational development
25% travel required
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, supply chain management, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years experience in business analysis, program management, supply chain management, or related field
Experience in as-is/to-be business process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis
Experience in cross-functional collaboration across multiple teams
Experience working independently and collaboratively
Experience in handling project management responsibilities (prioritization, planning, scheduling, status)
Experience with ERP, WMS, CMS, TMS, or related software program
Experience with Microsoft Office
Communication, problem-solving and interpersonal experience
Supply Chain process knowledge from Procure-to-Pay
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's in business, operations management, supply chain management, logistics, or related field
Experience in deploying logistics networks and/or facilities operations
Experience managing data center logistics operations
