CMA Certified Medical Assistant Needed Hiring Now (Greater Spokane Area)

FULL TIME MA-C JOB STARTS IMMEDIATELY

COVID-19 NOTICE: Due to COVID-19, we have a combination of limited in-office patient encounters and virtual patient visits.

All in person interview candidates will be required to wait in their cars until called for their interviews. Candidates will also have temperatures taken, be required to sanitize their hands and wear masks covering their full noses and mouths for the full duration of the interviews.

HIRING: A WASHINGTON STATE LICENSED/CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA-C) for physician's office and non-invasive cardiac lab/cardiac imaging center. Minimum of 1-year work experience in a hospital or clinical setting.

This position requires a Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C). If your only Certification is for Medical Assistant-Hemodialysis Technician, Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist, or Medical Assistant Registered, sorry, but you are not qualified for this job.

We prefer candidates who have a strong cardiac background. This job requires travel to our Clinic in Chewelah 2-3 days a week and carpooling to Republic approximate every 2 weeks. A Travel Bonus is paid for travel to Republic, WA.

SALARY: Because each candidate we interview has different experiences, differing skills and varied training, we do not have a set starting salary. However, most candidates start in the $16.00-$17.00 per hour range. Some, even higher based on experience and skills.

CANDIDATES MUST:

+NOT BE NICOTINE USERS! Yes, that means electronic cigarettes too. No nicotine or tobacco of any kind. We are after all a doctor's office.

+Be able to performs ECGs and Treadmill tests under a physician's supervision.

+Be able to room patients and perform MA duties during patient office visits.

+Have superb verbal and written communication skills.

+Have an understanding of computers and basic office equipment.

+Be able to understand the supplies used and physician's diagnoses during a patient encounter.

+Be able to research and conduct audit compliance and regulatory issues pertaining to the job.

+Be able to manage multiple tasks and complete them on time.

+Understand internal task flow and clearly communicate project status to the supervisor.

+Know how to use EHR and scheduling systems. Be able to field a high-volume of faxes, calls and cover the phones on occasion.

+Understand inventory of supplies and do regular inventory reports.

+We can get extremely busy so task prioritization skills are a must!

+Pass security screening including, but not limited to, drug and alcohol testing and a full background check.

+Be licensed as a Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C).

+Have, or be willing to obtain within 6 weeks of employment, HIPAA, BBP and BLS training.

+Be willing to travel to our clinic in Chewelah up to 2-3 times a week. Transportation to Republic, WA is provided when we are scheduled there. The rest of the schedule is in our Spokane office.
