This Bookkeeper opportunity will be located in the Mill Valley, California area and will be a full-time position. Managing accounts receivable, month-end closing, accounts payable, and reconciliation are important tasks in the Bookkeeper role. Also, the Bookkeeper will handle coding, light journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P. Capable in credit card management and reconciliation

Prepare cash flow projections, as needed

Support monthly accounting close

Keep a general ledger

Operate monthly accounting close

Prepare monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Classify sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

Accounts Payable

Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together

Handle Accounts Receivable

Additional special projects if necessary

Requirements

Vow to meet business deadlines

Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions

Excellent analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills

Progressive accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

High attention to detail

Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

3+ years of related experience- Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

Bookkeeping experience

Demonstrated knowledge of Quickbooks Online

Solid understanding of Basic Bookkeeping

Adeptness in QuickBooks

Full Cycle Payroll experience

General familiarity with billing

Accounts Payable (AP) experience preferred
