Leads and manages multiple network product and cost of care initiatives, including the most complex initiatives enterprise-wide (e.g. local, within each state, across business segments and at the enterprise level) and drives execution. Understands, predicts, and implements measures to control healthcare costs and to make healthcare more affordable for our customers. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

Develops, implements and maintains competitive network product platform.

Leads innovative network product designs that could include High Performance Network, Digital Solutions, virtual network and care delivery models, or complex cost of care and clinical solutions.

Leads product life cycle management of network product portfolio.

Drives portfolio modernization and simplification efforts.

Leads complex client customization network product builds that will contribute to Anthem attracting, retaining, and growing business in our large or national segments.

Partners with Product Managers to achieve superior execution of product and network product strategy in the marketplace.

Tracks individual network product performance by design, market segment and sub region.

Supports the development of short and long-term strategic network products in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.

Identifies system needs to support short and long-term network product strategy.

Develops system requirements and ROI.

Understands customers, consumers, providers and market trends and needs, and leads the design of solutions to meet those needs and support Anthem’s continued leadership.

Drive Go-to-Market strategies for new network product, digital or virtual solutions for local markets, business segments or the enterprise.

May lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of complex regional and company-wide initiatives, including portfolio repositioning in a market, legislative changes, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policy initiatives, etc.

Qualifications Requres a BA/BS degree; 7-10 years of network product management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Demonstrated results in three or more of the following areas required: Product Development, Market Strategy, Market Research, Network Management, Consultative sales and Customer solutions.

Ability to build and maintain positive relationships is required.

Incumbent will be results oriented and possess the following: ability to execute, advanced analytical skills, a strategic mindset.

Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills required.

Network Management, Provider Solutions and/or Cost of Care experience preferred.

MBA or MHA degree a plus, but not required
