Responsibilities Req ID: 66066 Provide support to providers in the delivery of timely, quality patient health care services in a clinic environment. Provide support to patients for optimal service and care. May work in a team supporting multiple providers. Provide patient care support and assist providers as instructed by the physician, provider or RN Room patients, manage patient flow and obtain adequate patient medical information/data Receive or initiate patient phone calls and follow practice or protocol while gathering pertinent data regarding the reason for call or patient request Actively engage in Team Communication, huddles or other activities Schedule/cancel appointments for existing patients following standard practice Clean, prepare, organize and re-stock exam rooms Perform other duties as assigned Education Graduate of an LPN program. Current MN LPN licensure required (current WI LPN licensure required if working in Wisconsin - WI License may be required for those positions that interact with WI patients by phone) OR Applicants with less than 6 months of Medical Assistant experience must have graduated from an accredited medical assisting school with a clinical externship. BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Qualification/Skills Prefer minimum of one year clinic LPN or Medical Assistant experience. Experience working with electronic medical records program strongly preferred. Utilize customer service skills in order to positively impact the experience of care for our patients, external customers and internal service partners. Maintain good organization, problem solving and judgment. Follow all procedures and protocols for assigned work area. Work Schedule 40 hours per week Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm; schedule and hours may vary depending on needs of the clinic Will work primarily at the NorthStar Sleep Center in Coon Rapids, but will also have some scheduled time at the Allina Health Coon Rapids Clinic Will include travel to outreach sites, primarily Allina Health Forest Lake Clinic once a week, to work with pulmonary and sleep provider
