United States of AmericaJob ID: 202008-122057Download PDFApply For This JobReturn to Search ResultsThe PositionThe Regev Office Business Manager will be a highly organized and collaborative individual who will work with the Head of gRED to organize and track the Head’s major activities and coordinate the activities of the Regev Office. This individual will strategically work across the organization and beyond to ensure those priorities are met, and serve as a key point of communication for leadership and staff. Key responsibilities:

Work closely with the Head to identify their priorities and ensure their time is distributed effectively.

Work with the Head to identify big picture goals on a quarterly basis, and ensure the Head’s day-to-day activities are in alignment with these goals.

Organize, manage and track major activities for the Head, as well as synthesize information to advise their decision-making process. Triage incoming requests and independently use judgement in deciding whether and how to escalate to them.

Proactively work to anticipate future needs of the Head, identify potential roadblocks.

Liaise with the Executive Assistant to prioritize and resolve scheduling conflicts

Facilitate activities, priorities and work associated with the Head’s external activities, including external SABs, NAS obligations and the Head’s work as a co-chair of the Human Cell Atlas.

Work to ensure that members of the Regev office are meeting deadlines but can effectively work independently.

Frequently check in with team members of the Regev office to review their workloads and redistribute work when necessary.

Qualifications:

MInimum requirement: :Bachelors Degree and 8 + Years Experience

Highly organized; able to multitask and ensure projects continue to move forward.

Demonstrates excellent judgement and problem-solving, ability to build trust; highest integrity and discretion with confidential information.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying poised and “calm under fire.”

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; willingness to collaborate across various groups and all levels of leadership both inside and outside of the organization.

Ability to manage up, provide feedback, and have difficult conversations.

Can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Ability to investigate, identify, and implement new technology tools and processes to increase productivity. Proficient with existing and ability to quickly learn new technologies
