What you’ll be doing

With your awesome people skills, and excitement for technology, you'll offer exceptional and innovative business solutions that help businesses connect.

Your primary objective will to solely focuses on outbound prospecting. Unlike quota-carrying salespeople, sales development reps don’t focus on closing business. Rather, SDR's focus on moving leads through the pipeline. You will be given lead lists by marketing and then email and call prospects in order to qualify which leads quota-carrying sales reps should spend their time with. This enables closers to spend more time selling to qualified leads and unburdens sales executives from having to engage in prospecting.

You will find new opportunities and take meticulous notes for follow up from the sales team.

Understanding and offering business technology products and services.

Identifying and qualifying prospects within a respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and company provided campaigns.

Organizing daily, weekly and monthly follow-up activities.

Tracking and reporting prospects in a 30, 60, 90 day funnel, as well as managing new customer relationships.

What we’re looking for…

You’re a hunter who enjoys the thrill of cold calling. self-proclaimed tech person and thrive on crafting the right solution to solve a client’s problems. You are just as happy and motivated to work entirely alone, or in a team environment. You are great at explaining how complex technology can solve every day business problems—in language people understand. You don’t mind cold-calling because meeting new people and discovering their needs is what you enjoy. People seek you out for advice and counsel. You are excited to grow with LTT and help them win new business.

You’ll need to have:

A willingness and humility to learn the process.

A smartphone, laptop and home office.

High School Diploma

1 or more years of relevant sales experience.

Pass a basic background check and drug test.

Willingness to work from home or office.

Willingness to travel on rare occasions.

Even better if you have:

Associates degree.

Business acquisition experience, including prospecting/cold calling.

Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience.

SaaS sales experience.

Technology sales and educational experience.

Experience with sales force or a client management tool.

Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive sales teams.

Strong over the phone skills, as well as face to face presentation skills.

Aptitude for acquiring sales skills and product knowledge.

Proven ability to create and maintain strong business relationships with all levels of client organizations.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.

Willingness to evaluate current strategies and quickly transform when necessary.

Experience with contract negotiations, negotiation of deals and working with Finance for contracts.
