Video Department Manager (Orange County)

McNally Enterprises is seeking a full-time highly motivated and technically skilled individual to head our video department. This position will oversee all elements of the video department, interface with clientele, manage inventory and prep gear for shows, manage video technicians and lead video crews on-site.

Ideal Candidates should:

-Have experience with modern touring grade projectors from Christie, Barco, and Panasonic

-Have a strong knowledge of LED video wall systems, with an ability to install and program video walls.

-Have experience with advanced video display concepts (edge blending, pixel mapping, unique content playback for multiple screens, etc)

-Have experience in utilizing modern production switchers

-Have experience in cue to cue content playback in live event environments via media servers, professional video playback software, etc.

-Have experience with modern non-linear editing systems preferably in Adobe Creative Cloud

-Have experience with both Cinema and ENG cameras

-Understand rigging basics with an ability to assemble truss and interface with motors safely.

-Hold a strong level of knowledge in power distribution.

-Be able to interact and communicate with a client at a high level and to work under tight deadlines.

-Demonstrate leadership and management skills with an ability to efficiently execute tasks on event sites.

-Have a willingness to create and prep pull sheets, QC gear in the shop, and maintain an inventory.

-Have a willingness to lend a hand to other aspects of a production when video setup is complete

-Have a flexible schedule with an ability to work long hours

-Be able and willing to lift and handle various video and event related equipment.

This is NOT a "freelance" position and applicants will be expected to work on a full time basis.

Individuals with experience solely in film/broadcast will NOT be considered for this position.

Salary: $50,000-$75,000
