Eaton’s Industrial sector is currently seeking a Quality Assurance
Clerk to join our team. This position is based at our Camarillo, CA plant. Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Clerk supports
the Quality Department in maintaining strong document control practices and
overseeing the production process to look for conformance to documentation, as
well as effectiveness of existing programs.The Quality Assurance Clerk will be
involved in AS9100 compliance, Audit Findings, Corrective Action Requests and
Supplier Corrective Action Responses, and assists with other Quality Department

Creates and reviews First Article Inspection reports,
ensures compliance to AS9102 First Article requirements
Maintains record control and retention including
scanning of all relevant scanning of documents
Creates data packs for customers and end item
acceptance
Provides traceability information both to internal and
external customers
Conduct production line audits as directed by Quality
Manager
Participates in Root Cause Analysis. Generates and
assists in the corrective/preventive action process and non-conforming
material process
Documents, files and maintains all external and
internal records as required by QMS
Must be able to perform inspections in accordance with
work instructions, using appropriate measuring and monitoring equipment.
Required inspections include Receiving, First Piece, In-Process, Final.
Represents Eaton with customer and government source
inspection personnel
Creates and executes process audits and layered process
audits
Trains and mentors other employees on quality
inspections, standards and processes
Performs other tasks as directed by Quality manager.

High School Degree
Minimum 3 years working in Quality function supporting ISO-9000 or
AS9100 Quality Management Systems
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company
sponsorship.
Must
be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and
within the future
No
relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Camarillo,
CA will be considered. Active Duty
Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area
limitation.
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of SAP
Experience working with cross functional teams.
Position Criteria:
Strong analytical,
written and verbal communication skills.
Work
experience regarding inspection sampling plans, quality control principles and
methods
Good verbal
and written communication skills. Ability to interface and represent Eaton with
customers and external auditors
Strong
organization skills and attention to detail.
Reads and
correctly interprets drawings, specifications, manufacturing sketches, and
other technical documents.
Knowledge
of inspection tools, processes, standards and interpretation of drawings.
Knowledge
and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
Capable of
interpreting and carrying out written and verbal procedures and instructions.
Reliable,
diligent, organized, and self-motivated. Works with a minimum of supervision.
