Influence and guide work in manner that is consistent with currents boundaries of the Authorization Basis ensuring a balance of bargaining unit personnel and documentation. Ensure work being completed for the WRPS facilities are compliant with Company mandated and other applicable policies, procedures, programs and regulations, including Department of Energy directives, personnel safety, environmental compliance, and safety of the public.Specific duties include, but are not limited to:Demonstrate personal accountability for the safe performance of work.Direct and control work in a manner that is consistent with the current WRPS facility procedures balance of bargaining unit personnel, work site supervision, and documentation and materials are in place before starting work and throughout activities.Conduct pre-job and post-job briefings including Enhanced Work Planning meetings and lesson learned.Ensure that work does not commence until all personnel involved with the fieldwork understand the work scope, hazards, hazards controls, hold point, their roles and responsibilities.Complete work activity documentation accurately and thoroughly, ensuring appropriate review, approvals and/or authorizations are obtained.Build and maintain fieldwork teams, recognizing achievements and correcting behaviors detrimental to the safe conduct of work and/or to the team.Act as an integral part of the communications system providing an upward and downward link of the timely transfer of information.Interact with other projects and WRPS support organizations to ensure that their project goals and work activities are met.Continually review activities of the work group and develop, direct, and monitor implementation of plans for improved safety, efficiency, and productivity.Implement the company policies and contractual commitments applicable to bargaining unit personnel.Communicate between Facilities Management, WRPS personnel, Mission Support Alliance computer technical personnel, and Office of River Protection.Create and maintain a total quality and safe climate that encourages the commitment of all employees to meet or exceed customer's needs.Advise management of potential areas of concern and impact of proposed changes of WRPS facilities.Direct and monitor implementation of plans for improved safety, efficiency and productivity.Obtain Field Worker Supervisor qualification.Comply with WRPS policies and procedures.Ensure Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) principles are incorporated into organization's activities.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree (BS/BA) and minimum of 8 years of related experience or, an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Desired QualificationsExperience working at a Nuclear or DOE facility is preferred.Experience overseeing Bargaining Unit personnel is desirable.Relocation Funding ProvidedYesU.S. Citizenship RequiredYesClearance RequiredNoJob ClassificationExemptShift Work RequiredNoThis contractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR ยงยง 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
