RELIABLE PERSONAL CARE ASSISTANT/HOME HEALTH AIDE WANTED! (Colonie, NY)

I’m a quadriplegic woman searching for reliable part-time personal care assistants/home health aides. I am seeking female candidates to work weeknights (8PM-10PM Monday-Friday) and act as a back-up for weekday mornings (6:30AM-8:30AM Monday-Friday), weekends (7AM-1PM and 8PM-10PM) and/or assist with doctor/other appointments that come up.

Candidates must:

Be dependable

Be punctual

Have a good work ethic

Have a valid driver license and car

Be physically fit and able to safely perform stand pivot transfers

Prior homecare experience is preferred. I’m really trying to find people who live in or near the village of Colonie to make it easier to work these kind of hours.

Duties include, but not limited to:

Assistance with getting dressed

Catheter care

Assistance with exercise equipment

Stand pivot transfers

Meal prep

Light housekeeping
